Recording Stories Project

Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company in association with the Office for the Arts is working towards maintaining Indigenous culture by collecting Noongar stories for the future.

Through funding from the Australian Government’s Office for the Arts Indigenous Culture Support and Creative Development Program, Yirra Yaakin is able to engage with the community and collect, record, collate, develop and produce the stories into physical, recordable outcomes.

Yirra Yaakin is currently facilitating a Writers Group on the second Monday of every month. Visit Yirra Yaakin to register your details to join our next Writers Group Workshop.
